Spiritual Tools for the Human Journey

Let your inner compass guide you

Hello friends,

It is my pleasure to share this beautiful, insightful information with you.

Everything that I’m about to share has been learned through many of my own trials and tribulations but also with the guidance of Spirit.

Let’s get straight into it shall we?

Life is quite literally a ‘game’ in which we play an avatar of our creation, on a game board that changes and evolves with each of our decisions.

Whilst we may take a few odd turns on the path, maybe sometimes we go the ‘long way’ but each decision, each step always takes us in a forward direction.

There is never a ‘wrong way’ or ‘wrong path’, we simply learn different lessons depending on which path we take.

The most arduous path reveals the greatest truths and the highest potentials for advancement and growth.

It is helpful when traveling on a quest, to have tools that aid us in making better decisions that lead to more pleasurable paths in life.

However, there are times when the only way forward is through the hardest path and just know that if you’re being guided in that direction, it’s because you’re ready for it.

There are three main spiritual tools that aid each human on their quest/journey.

The first tool (and the most important) is DISCERNMENT.

What does discernment mean?

Discernment: A power to see what is not evident to the average mind. The ability to comprehend what is obscure. An act of perceiving something.

Put in simple terms, it basically means having the ability to know when someone is lying. Think of discernment like a compass within you that will always find north (truth).

Like many other things in life, your skill in discernment will become more accurate over time with conscious practice.

A great little exercise to start with is to say a statement yourself that you know is false. For example, I might say to myself ‘Anj, you are an accountant’ (insert snort).

Or ask yourself a yes/no question, knowing the answer is ‘no’.

Notice how your body FEELS when you speak a lie, or the energy of NO.

Your body is such an incredible tool.

So often in spiritual practices, the physical body is less prioritised because everyone wants to float in space and connect with Spirit but we forget, we’re PHYSICAL beings here to experience a dense dimensional energy.

It is incredibly important that we utilise this magical, divine vessel that has quite literally been designed for this very purpose.

Your body will always always ALWAYS tell you when something is not right.

We are hard wired to physically react to lies, it’s just that over time, we become desensitised.

When you start to feel comfortable with knowing how ‘no/lies’ feel in your body physically, you can then start experimenting with people/information in ‘real time’.

A great exercise is to watch recorded videos of spiritual mentors/teachers and tune into their energy.

How does your physical body react to the information they are delivering?

What does it pick up? Is it a ‘no’ feeling, or a ‘yes’ or is it ‘nothing’?

YES energy, truth energy, is distinct.

Quite often, when I’m giving a reading or a healing, my client’s body will physically react to a spoken truth.

It can be tears, shivers, goosebumps a vast array of physical reactions.

This happens when a deep truth is revealed, it’s the body’s way of saying YES, that’s true.

From time to time, you may not feel anything either way and that’s completely fine.

When you can’t discern a lie from truth, it’s always best to proceed with caution.

In my experience, ‘maybe’ is usually ‘no’.

So there you have it, discernment.

Do not underestimate the power of discernment.

It will reveal things that your eyes alone, could not. Looks can be deceiving.

You may wonder why discernment is so important? Why am I banging on about it?

That is because the spiritual community is fraught with deception, ego, greed, you name it.

It is not a regulated industry and unfortunately there are plenty of people out there who have questionable practices, ethics and motivations.

It may seem obvious to you, at the outset, who seems legit and who does not… but let me tell you, humans are vastly complex and bloody good at lying.

Even the most humble teachers, who seem genuine can surprise you.

Knowing you have this invaluable tool, using it and wielding it like a shield, discernment can and will protect you and your highest good.

If you listen to it.

I know that also seems obvious but there was a time when my discernment was telling me to physically leave a situation but I did not. Foolishly, I placed my trust in another human and it almost destroyed me.

Ignore your inner compass at your own peril.
